Our Brigade 100 year Book
The Brigade is publishing a 100 year book to document the history & evolution of the brigade and significant events & milestones that have occurred over this period. The 100 year book is being researched and authored by Mr Colin Fisher OAM of the Mornington and District Historical Society in collaboration with the brigade.
The Brigade 100 year book will be officially launched by the CFA Chief Officer during his public address following the flag raising ceremony at the conclusion of the Australia Day parade in Mornington Park on 26th January 2017.
Books will be available for sale at $20 each to the public as follows:
On Australia Day 26/1/17
Books will only be available for sale exclusively from the Mornington Historical Society at old post office Corner of Main street & Esplanade Mornington from 1200 – 1700hrs and then at Mornington Brigade marquee in Mornington park from 1700hrs
After Australia Day 26/1/17
Books will be available for sale from Mornington Fire Station at 859 Nepean Highway Mornington, including at the Mornington fire station Open Day on Saturday 28th January 2017 where several ex-Captains of the brigade will be on hand to chat about and sign the book for anyone who purchases it.
